This is the first show I’ve worked on as a co head of props, though I was sole head of props for both third year acting shows, so alongside the practical learning of sourcing and making props, I was also learning a lot about what it means to lead a crew, make weeklies and dailies, working on budgeting and planning, and a lot more- and i really liked it! Though I was HOD for two shows, Bacchae and Lysistrata, my primary insolvent in builds was the Bacchae. The largest build were semi abstract Vines that were slowly revealed behind 4 pillars encasing them through the show, at first revealing normal vines and fruit into an increasingly monstrous, otherworldly and rotten, wet looking organism. The rotten fruit was a lot of fun to make, along with bedazzling a vape and rubber knife.
