Waitress The Musical

Focusing far more on model making than design, my set was a near identical copy of the Waitress the Musical’s set on Broadway with only minor changes. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the process and this assignment will always hold a place in my journey as my first maquette. Though my highschool drama teacher assured me that I did not need to create a miniature of every prop used in the show, I have not learned my lesson and have heard the same thing from several set design teachers since.
