Streetcar Named Desire Maquette

After learning much from this first year class I was able to focus on both model making and the actual set design. This script allowed me to create a single set consisting of both interior and exterior ‘zones’ with numerous points of entrance and exit, allowing for intricate staging and minimal set changes. Though many versatile sets omit details and set dressings in the name of neutrality, I believe depicting this apartment in full detain was necessary to the story and I was able to maintain the detail through creating these separate playing spaces in a single set through use of levels and surface design on walls and flooring.
